When long car moves or a number of maneuvers are required, STAR
Engineering has created a variety of cable haulage units to fit the task. STAR
specializes in two different types of cable units -- electro-mechanical and hydraulic. Electro-mechanical
cable haulages come equipped with powerful electric motors, gear reduction and torque
overload devices.
Hydraulic cable haulage features include a hydraulic cylinder cable
takeup/tensioning system, flow control speed adjustments, and pressure control for
overload protection.
Cable haulages are available in 3,000, 6,000, 9,000 and 12,000 pound
drawbar pull capacities. |
